A few days ago I caught up with a friend at Lompoc Cafe (Bar Harbor, ME), where we enjoyed an eclectic dinner menu in the beautiful ocean air. Already in a good mood when we arrived, I was delighted to discover that the silverware was wrapped in festive cloth napkins. How cool! Not only is it an ecologically-friendly practice (especially with tourist season in full swing around here), but it's also a simple, fun way add character-- and art-- to the restaurant's quirky vibe.
